The system comes completely set up with a Halcyon Eclipse wing, a backplate with a quick-adjust Cinch harness, a single-tank adapter, soft shoulder and backplate pads, and integrated weight pockets.

Full package includes

  • Halcyon Eclipse Wing with 22" Inflator hose
  • Halcyon Ali or SS Backplate fitted with Adjustable Cinch Harness
  • Halcyon Single Tank Adapter
  • Halcyon Deluxe Shoulder Pads and Backplate Pad
  • Halcyon 50-D first stage (DIN)
  • Halcyon Halo primary regulator with 210cm (7') regulator hose
  • Halcyon Aura backup regulator with 24" regulator hose
  • Halcyon Master Pressure Gauge with 26" High Pressure hose
  • Halcyon Traverse Bag

      Halcyon Eclipse Deluxe

The Halcyon Eclipse Deluxe Single Tank Wing System is not your typical buoyancy compensator. It offers the unparalleled comfort and performance of a back-mounted harness.

Additionally, it provides the ease of adjustment of a jacket BC for single-tank divers. The system's most distinctive feature is the novel Cinch Quick-Adjust Harness. This system redefines backplate diving by delivering ultimate comfort, stability, and infinite adjustability.

Furthermore, the system features the immensely popular Halcyon Eclipse wing. Its long, narrow profile supports your tank along its entire length. Consequently, this design reduces unnecessary drag and minimises your in-water effort.

      • Infinite adjustability in the blink of an eye.
      • Snug, stable fit with easy system removal.
      • Easily adjustable while in or out of the water.
      • Easily convertible for suits of varying thickness.
      • Total unit weight: Aluminium 5.0kg / Stainless Steel 6.5kg.

      Halcyon Eclipse Wing

The Halcyon Eclipse Wing features a doughnut-shaped, back-mounted design. This specialised shape allows divers to achieve perfect horizontal trim underwater. As a result, it reduces your in-water effort and streamlines your movement.

Moreover, you can choose from three lift capacities to maximise comfort. A circular zipper around the inside allows for easy inspection of the interior bladder. Additionally, a quick drainage system at the bottom removes water rapidly to minimise excess weight.

      • Lifetime warranty on inner bladder RF-welded seams.
      • Available in three lift capacities: 20lbs, 30lbs, and 40lbs.
      • 1680-denier ballistic nylon outer shell and 400-denier Nylon inner bladder.

      Which wing size?

The amount of lift you require depends entirely on your kit configuration. For comparison, the Eclipse 30 measures 67cm x 46cm, while the Eclipse 40 measures 70cm x 50cm.

Therefore, the 30lbs wing works best for a lighter single 12L steel cylinder. Conversely, the 40lbs wing is ideal for a heavier 15L cylinder or extra emergency lift.

      Backplate with Cinch Harness

The Halcyon Backplate with Cinch Adjustable Harness comes with either a steel or aluminium backplate. Now you can change suits or divers and adjust the harness in a flash.

Importantly, you can make these quick adjustments without compromising the harness's integrity or Halcyon’s continuous webbing. You adjust the fit by simply sliding the harness through a unique assembly. Divers can easily adjust the fit in or out of the water with a simple push or pull.

Furthermore, unique bends near the bottom of the plate create an ergonomic curve. Therefore, this small detail significantly increases diver comfort.

      • High-grade, polished 304 stainless steel or hard-coat aluminium.
      • Bare backplate weight: Steel is 2.22kg, while Aluminium is 0.77kg.
      • Dimensions: 26cm x 39.3cm.

      Which backplate to use?

Generally, travelling or wetsuit divers prefer the lighter aluminium backplate. Conversely, drysuit divers often choose a stainless steel backplate. The additional steel weight helpfully takes bulk off your waist.

      Halcyon Single Tank Adapter

The stainless steel Halcyon Single Tank Adapter securely attaches your backplate to a single cylinder. Premium cam bands feature stainless steel buckles and Topogrip Pads to prevent sliding.

Moreover, the deep plate accommodates an optional central weight. You can easily remove this extra 6lbs central weight when you do not require it.

      Deluxe Shoulder and Backplate Pads

Halcyon Deluxe Shoulder Pads and a Backplate Pad offer ultimate comfort in thinner exposure suits. Movable Velcro tabs provide a custom fit around your shoulder D-ring and harness accessories.

Additionally, the backplate pad features an integrated storage pocket. This handy pocket allows you to carry a surface marker or lift bag in a streamlined position.

      Halcyon Regulators

      Halcyon H-50D First Stage

The Halcyon H-50D first stage features a high-performance, fully sealed diaphragm design. Specifically, engineers purpose-built this model for harsh environments, such as ice or contaminated water.

Furthermore, the balanced, environmentally sealed chamber prevents water entry into the mechanism. Consequently, it delivers consistent performance at varying tank pressures. You will enjoy smooth, easy breathing throughout your dive.

Additionally, two opposing high-pressure ports allow you to route your SPG flexibly. Four stationary low-pressure ports customise your hose routing for maximum comfort. These high-flow ports ensure the best air delivery by supplying up to 15% more air.

      • Balanced, environmentally sealed diaphragm design.
      • Includes 2 high-pressure and 4 low-pressure ports.
      • Compatible with 300-bar DIN and 40% Nitrox.

Primary Second Stage Regulator - Halcyon Halo

The Halcyon Halo second stage offers steadfast reliability and impeccable performance. Two distinct breathing adjustments make it the top choice for demanding divers.

First, the balanced downstream valve reduces spring tension, thereby decreasing inhalation resistance. Second, an adjustable inhalation control knob refines your breathing effort on the fly.

      • Balanced, adjustable downstream valve for smooth breathing.
      • Integrated Air Control Vane (ACV) prevents surface free flows.

Backup Second Stage Regulator - Halcyon Aura

The Halcyon Aura second stage provides a simple, compact design that makes breathing underwater feel completely natural. It delivers air in a smooth, dependable fashion.

Furthermore, a factory pre-set inhalation effort suits most common diving situations. This reliable downstream valve design opens safely in the same direction as the incoming airflow.

      • Classic downstream valve delivers impressive reliability.
      • Ideal, compact choice for a backup regulator.

      Halcyon Master Pressure Gauge

The Halcyon Master Gauge is well-suited as a primary SPG. High-quality materials and a highly visible, luminescent face make this a common favourite.

      • Tough nickel-plated brass case with a mineral glass lens.

      An action-packed dark romantasy
      Format: Kindle
I loved this book! Queen of Roses is an Arthurian-inspired dark romantasy that is the first book in the Blood of Fae series. The story follows Morgan, the princess of Camelot who is rumored to be part fae. Fueled by prejudiced hatred and a mistrust of fae blood, Morgan’s abusive father strips her of her birthright and hands it to her half-brother, Arthur. Instead of becoming queen, Morgan is commanded to join the temple of the goddesses when she comes of age. However, Arthur turns into a psychopathic, power-hungry, fae-hating king as he ages. He develops malevolent plans and commands Morgan to find an ancient weapon with legendary power. Although Morgan is wary of Arthur’s intentions, she embraces the opportunity to go on a journey and potentially change her fate. The story picks up from there and we follow Morgan on her quest to find the ancient relic. It’s full of high stakes adventure, mystery, tension, banter, forced proximity, hidden magic, self discovery, and betrayal. This first installment of the series intricately develops the world building and character development. There’s little romance in this book, but it is evident that it is a slow burn that will continue to develop throughout the remainder of the series. Overall, I loved the world building, the epic fantasy, Morgan’s journey of self discovery, and all of the twists and turns that set the stage for the future installments. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

      Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
      Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

      Not a bad start
      Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Unraveling Fate and Fae: A Captivating Journey in "Queen of Roses"
      Format: Kindle
"Queen of Roses" by Briar Boleyn is a dark fantasy romance that masterfully combines elements of myth, magic, and romance with a captivating King Arthur retelling infused with a Fae twist. From its intricately woven plot to its compelling characters, this novel delivers an immersive reading experience that will leave readers eagerly anticipating the next installment. At its core, "Queen of Roses" is an enchanting tale of forbidden love and destiny, featuring an exceptionally slow-burn romance that ignites with the intensity of an enemies-to-lovers trope. Against a backdrop of magic and mythical creatures, the story unfolds with tension, banter, and forced proximity, drawing readers into a world filled with love, friendships, self-discovery, and betrayal. While the novel excels in world-building, character development, and plot intricacies, some readers may yearn for a bit more fire and spice in certain aspects of the narrative. However, the promise of future developments in the series offers hope for an even more dynamic and engaging story to come. I know I personally cannot wait to get into book 2. With a cliffhanger ending that leaves hearts racing and minds reeling, "Queen of Roses" succeeds in immersing readers from start to finish. Its dark and twisted fantasy elements are expertly balanced with moments of adventure, action, and unexpected twists, keeping readers on the edge of their seats until the very last page. Overall, "Queen of Roses" is a must-read for fans of dark fantasy romance, offering a mesmerizing journey that will leave readers eagerly anticipating the next chapter in the series. With its lush prose, intricate storytelling, and unforgettable characters, this novel is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who venture into its enchanted world. Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
      Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.
